The election for London Mayor takes place on Thursday May 2nd. All four of the main party candidates – Conservative, Green, Labour and Lib Dem have issued statements supporting an ‘age-friendly London’ and promising action to improve public toilets. Since the lockdown older campaigners have played a big role in getting this issue on the agenda. Our campaign for decent toilets in Kilburn continues. In the meantime, with the support of One Kilburn and Camden Council, we’re proposing to open the toilets in Kilburn Grange Park during the day on ten weekends this summer.
