Loos for Kilburn – Queens Park triumph!
Many congratulations to Lynda and the team who ran the KOVE stall at the Queen’s Park Festival on June 1st 2024. They raised £152.18 KOVE’s Loos for Kilburn campaign fund. Thanks to Paul, Terry, Jon, Gordon and Faith, Frances, Gina and Marie (who took the photo).
The trustees have confirmed that KOVE will soon offer a facility for online donations. We are currently prioritising our Loos for Kilburn campaign fund. If you would like to make a financial contribution to that work or help at one of our fund-raising stalls please let Lynda Stuart, KOVE’s chair know (07773 267505). The fund will assist with all of our work to promote the restoration of public toilets in Kilburn, including the proposed voluntary toilet scheme in Kilburn Grange Park and the Loos for Kilburn map of businesses willing to making their toilets accessible to non-customers on the High Road.

British Museum Trips
We know that a lot of people were disappointed they couldn’t join our very late announcement of six tickets for the community opening at the British Museum on May 25th. We didn’t organise this as well as we should have done, due to the last minute allocation of tickets: apologies from Alexandru and John. We have the names of everyone who got in touch and those people will be offered places for the next openings before we advertise them more widely. Do remember if you book for these trips that you must turn up or cancel in good time.
